CVM @ Business Redefined by SophiaTX

Crypto Valley Malaysia (CVM) joined the panelist sessions in two of the private events, Business Redefined held by SophiaTX– The first open source platform to integrate blockchain technology with enterprise systems and poised to reshape business models (as reported by Forbes, The Entrepreneur magazine and Nasdaq).

Business Redefined @ Suntec Convention Center, Singapore

It was quite an informative event to learn that SophiaTX is seriously looking into bringing the real value of Blockchain technology to the industries.

A night well spent in Singapore.

Business Redefined @ Connexion Nexus Bangsar South, Malaysia

A brief introduction by Jaroslav Kacina, CEO of SophiaTX.

Followed by product demo and panel discussion.

Some of the points for discussion are:

1. Is there a timeline for the adoption of blockchain in the world of business? What is the rate of blockchain adoption in businesses today, in Singapore, Asia, Europe and beyond?

2. What are the issues/challenges that come with driving blockchain adoption in businesses? And how do you overcome them?

3. Blockchain will disrupt many industries you use today – from automotive to healthcare – with its long-established methods of trust and verification. The digital transformation enabled by blockchain will disrupt entrenched industries via disintermediation: So what does blockchain mean to a wide array of businesses? How can it eliminate friction, build trust and provide value across various industries and stakeholders – from top to bottom line?

4. Around 87% of global businesses and 98% of the top 100 most valued brands in the world use SAP software, which touches some $16 trillion of consumer purchases and almost three-quarters of transaction revenue worldwide every year: Is it realistic to expect at least 30% uptake and deployment of blockchain across global industries in the next five years? How will the rise in enterprise-grade blockchain adoption impact the way we do business?

Team CVM with Jaroslav Kacina, CEO of SophiaTX and Jan Peter Speijer, SophiaTX’s Director of Products & Development.

Side note:

While travelling back from Singapore, saw this billboard ads in Changi Airport, what a coincidence as we were just mentioning SAP a night before.

Feeding the world doesn’t have to mean starving the planet.

The best-run businesses make the world run better.

People. Process. Technology.

About SAP: Around 87% of global businesses and 98% of the top 100 most valued brands in the world use SAP software, which touches some $16 trillion of consumer purchases and almost three-quarters (74%) of transaction revenue worldwide every year.
